the studio · cardinal engine · 3 pipelines

Add AI to your business — without breaking what already works.

davidwsc is a small studio. I build AI-native websites, iOS apps, and back-office automations for small and mid-sized businesses — three pipelines, all running on cardinal, my in-house agentic workflow engine.

The pipelines

Three productized ways the studio ships value.

Each pipeline stands on its own. Each one runs on cardinal. Most clients start with one and add the next when they feel the first one work — never bundled, never forced.

Pipeline I on-call · live in minutes

web — websites that compound

Modern, fast, AI-aware websites built around the one or two things customers come for. I design, build, and stay on as the on-call updater so changes ship in minutes, not weeks.

  • Designed around the one or two things people come to your site for
  • A simple CMS your team will actually use
  • On-page AI that answers visitor questions in your voice
  • Findable in AI search — show up when assistants get asked about your category
  • Forms triaged into the right inbox automatically
  • Ping me in chat — see the change live before lunch

Pipeline II idea → App Store

ios — native apps, shipped

A repeatable way to ship a real, native iOS app — without the cost or wait of a traditional agency build. Proven starters, end-to-end release handling, and post-launch iteration that customers can actually feel.

  • Native iOS app shaped around one clear job your customers care about
  • Reusable starters for utility, AI, commerce, and content apps
  • Early-access builds, App Store submission, screenshots, and review handled
  • Subscriptions, in-app purchases, and accounts wired in
  • Fast iteration after launch — small, frequent updates customers feel

Pipeline III the boring work, gone

automation — your back office on autopilot

The busywork between your existing tools — handled overnight instead of on Tuesday afternoon. Quotes, follow-ups, support triage, voice receptionists, the lot. Powered by cardinal.

  • Built on what you already use, never bolted on
  • cardinal AI agents that read your tools and act with guardrails
  • Voice and inbox cover for after-hours leads
  • Quietly resilient — retries, alerts, fallbacks
  • Cleaner customer data, fewer balls dropped on a busy week
  • Light-touch or always-on, your call

How I work

Listen. Try. Ship. Stay.

Predictable steps, predictable scope. You see something real running on your data inside two weeks — or we don't move on to the next step.

  1. 01

    Listen

A 30-minute call, then a quiet week shadowing how your team actually works. I leave with two or three things worth doing — and an honest read on what isn't.

  2. 02

    Try

A thin slice goes live in two weeks, on your real data. You touch it, your team touches it, before anyone commits to more.

  3. 03

    Ship

Short cycles. Weekly demos. Everything documented for the person who has to live with it after I'm gone.

  4. 04

    Stay

I stick around as quietly as you want — light-touch monthly, or always-on when something needs a careful hand.

What clients say.

Three agencies tried and quit. davidwsc shipped something working in two weeks, and a year later it is still quietly getting better.
Priya S. Operations Director
I asked for a chatbot. He talked me out of it and built me something better. We get more done with fewer tools now.
Marcus T. Founder
He told us which automations not to build. That alone paid for the engagement. Then he built the rest, and they all just work.

FAQ

What people ask before they say yes.

How is this different from hiring an agency?

One person, accountable, hands on the keyboard. The studio is small on purpose — no subcontractors, no offshore handoffs, no slide decks. I take fewer clients than I could so the ones I have keep getting better service.

What is cardinal?

cardinal is the studio's in-house agentic workflow engine — the reusable substrate every project builds on. The agents, the orchestration, the guardrails, the evals, the memory. You don't need to know how it works under the hood; you feel it as software that doesn't break, agents that don't hallucinate, and workflows that quietly get better month over month.

Why three pipelines instead of one big offering?

Each pipeline is a productized way the engine ships value, with its own predictable scope and timeline. Most clients start with one — usually web or automation — and add the next when they feel the first one work. You're never buying something you don't need, and you're never locked in to a bundle.

I don't know what's worth automating yet — can you help with that?

That is most of the first conversation. I will usually spot two or three high-leverage things in the first call and give you an honest read on what is worth doing and what is not.

Will this lock me in to your tools?

No. Everything I build runs on systems you control, with documentation your team can read. cardinal is the engine I bring; the work I deliver is yours. If we ever part ways, you get the keys, the docs, and a clean handover.

How long does it take?

Two weeks to something real and live on your data. Bigger rollouts are scoped from there. I do not disappear into six-month builds.

Will my data be safe?

Yes. I work with what you control. Nothing leaves your systems unless you say so, and sensitive workloads stay on your infrastructure.

What does it cost?

Depends on scope and which pipeline. The first call is free, the second is too if it helps. I quote in fixed scopes once we know what we are doing — never by the hour, never with surprise invoices.

Curious what AI could quietly do for your business?

Book a 30-minute call. I'll listen, look at how you actually work, and tell you the two or three things that would pay back fastest. No deck, no pressure, no follow-up sales drip.

I reply to everything. Usually within a working day.
